Let’s start with the last, shall we?  Eric Pulsifer comments briefly on nuclear warhead fuses accidentally delivered to Taiwan.

Dr. Kevorkian running for congress in Michigan?

GMLc links to and quotes extensively from SLATE regarding the gender speech Hillary could give, but probably won’t.

Locally, Earl is keeping an eye on the race for House Seat 117:

Not to miss out on a good time (but really, our idea of a good time usually involves alcohol, women, and old Miami Vice or Reno 911 re-runs), and knowing one of the candidates in the race (Wheeler Tillman), we decided our first fact-checking target of the season would be their media release. We weren’t really surprised when they started acting proclaiming their innocence in a manner we haven’t seen since the O.J Simpson trial, calling their comments about Wheeler an “honest mistake”.

Patric responds to the recent Clinton campaign flub:

Apparently, Hillary Clinton momentarily suffered from the same problem that hit Mike Huckabee when he was speaking about his comments on the AIDS crisis: she forgot that this happens to be the Information Age.

Let’s think about this for a second. The First Lady of the United States lands in a war-torn country, and has to dodge bullets as she is rushed to safety.

Does anyone really believe that this wouldn’t have been the top story for the week?
