Look Who’s April Fooling

Local roundup

Dan has a fairly straightforward, but effective prank, if there is someone on your list you’d like to alienate.

J Dub has a touching post wishing his father happy birthday:

April 1…a day of ridiculous pranks and jokes, one where you always have to be on your toes, but one in which everyone ultimately has fun.  Quite the appropriate day for Dad to be born.

The April Fool’s Day of 1957 brought Dad into the world, and it’s a better place because of that.  Dad has always been a source of a good joke or an encouraging word at the most opportune time.

Hugging the Coast celebrates with a couple of foodie parodies.

Dave on Spontaneous Cycler Combustion:

So why the increase in cases of SCC in recent years? Scientists believe it is directly related to carbon fiber frames. It is believed that it is triggered by a build up of static electricity caused by the friction between the plastic saddle, and the polyester fibers in the shorts.
