Just Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter for me. I have a SU and Digg account that I really don’t do much with at all. I find myself hanging out more on web forums instead. trying to avoid getting sucked back into IRC.

Just Facebook and Stumble are enough for me.
My 30th year high school reunion officers found me through Facebook, of course it could have been my older brother who blabbed on me!
    30, 30?!!! *Thud*

I didn’t really like the format & layout of Facebook, but I’m pretty active on MySpace. Through the ‘Space I’ve gotten back in touch with dozens of old friends from both the Army and high school.

I try so many things that I can’t even keep track. I’ve got a notebook for that now: Digg, Newsvine, FriendFeed, LinkedIn, WiredJournalists, MySpace, Twitter, Facebook, Pandora, Flickr, StumbleUpon, Del.icio.us, ZigTag, Plaxo, Utterz.

Those are just the ones with an obvious social component. Doesn’t include the videosharing sites, or Google apps that can be shared through gTalk.

I do it because I consider it my job to scan what’s coming and at least be conversant with what’s happening. How can I talk about/write about folksonomies vs. taxsonomies if I don’t tag? And so on.

Hi all. I’ve just found this place and wanted to say hi.

Social Networking and the Lowcountry

I’m quite guilty of using, or possibly abusing, Twitter and StumbleUpon.  I have a presence on a few others such as FaceBook, mostly as a contact point for former acquaintances.

Where can you be found?  Are you into Digg or Del.icio.us?

Do you use these sites for social interaction, networking, a form of branding, or a combination?
