Robert Downey, Jr. owns the movie, but let’s face it: Robert Downey, Jr. could play a pet rock and still own the movie. He is one of the finest actors of his time.
So keep the drama on the big screen, baby, not the evening news. We want many, many fine performances from you. I want to see you get even better over time.

Also saw Iron Man today. Loved it. Robert Downey, Jr. hit just the right notes.

It was far better than I had hoped it would be. The CGI isn’t troubling like I feared it might be, Downey did a much better job than I expected, and the story was acceptable for an introduction to the canon.
. . . I can say that Iron Man was awesome. It works not just as a super hero movie but as an action movie period. Downey, Jr. is fantastic as Stark as is Daniels. The special effects are great and not overdone.
